In support of government's green power policies, in the year of 2020 DESS installed a 341.22 kW solar power system which was officially activated in December 2020.

It can produce 430,000 KWh of green power per year, i.e., electricity use for 125 households/year, and can slim carbon footprint by 238 tonnes per year.
